Cant write more...

During the span of time I have been alive I guess I have visited a lot of places, admired a lot of people, disliked few had my share of good and bad experiences. There have been a myraid of activities I have been involved in, some have inspired some have discouraged. Some places have left me in disbelief, some in agony, pain or sheer excitement but the place which I admire
and which makes me think the most is Srinagar. Well this is the place I was born and spent my early childhood years and till today inspite of the proxy war I spend atleast 10 days there during the summers. But whenever I reach there one part of me realises the beauty of the place but the other can sense the uneasy calm prevailing in the city. The people are tense, tourists threatened, the police on constant vigil and it seems that a militant attack is just around the corner. After spending just 2-3 days there one can realise, how can a place so beautiful as Kashmir due to so much destruction and religious unrest become the most dangerous place on earth while earlier it was labelled as the paradise on earth. Kashmir as a place is captivating and addictive, you visit it once and then you would love to visit it again. My admiration for this place is supreme and I guess god has blessed Kashmir with beauty that can never be matched.

Well I wanted to bore you more but someone came to meet me and just disturbed my concentration so cant write more...The mood has just withered away..

Life must go on..

The past week has been exciting, adventureous inspite of being a horror sometimes. The place where I have been putting up has brought a bunch a surprises with one instant it looking as paradise and the other being close to hell. The Kashmir valley is a place full of surprises and unprecedented incidents that will leave you gasping for breath whenver u reach here. Being just 300 kms from my Jammu, my hometown one cannot believe how can a place have such a different culture, lifestyle, language from its own state people. The moment you go outside that very second you become the center of attraction of the localities as the fear of being labelled as a outsider(kafir) becomes paramount. Well im writing this rubbish just days after the series of bomb blasts in Srinagar and Mumbai. Inspite of being bruta, cruel abd an act to instill terror in the minds of the people, these blasts bear a start contrast in their mode of execution that cannot be hidden from the peircing public eye. There were 5 blast in Srinagar and 7 in Mumbai but the damage in Mumbai was 20 times that in Srinagar. Sure, the places in Mumbai are crowded but the grenade blasts sites in srinagar and not less crowded either. This depicts a harsh reality that the killings in Kashmir were targetted while in Mumbai they were more severe and random. The militants in Kashmir aim only to kill the non-muslims whereas the terrorists(terminology is like that) in Mumbai targetted the people irrespective of their religion.

The militants resolve to make the non-muslims to abstain any travel to the vallley so that the nizam-e-mustafa can be implemented. While in Mumbai they want to derail the lifeline of the city "the local train" resulting in paralysing the financial capital of India. These blasts would instill a fear in the common masses and the investor alike which see India as a favourable investment destination. So because of all these incidents the Kashmir valley looks similar to a muslim country with all the temples destroyed, friday being an unofficial holiday, all english channels banned and most of the beautiful kashmiri ladies in burquah. These militants have been partially able to acomplish their motive in Kashmir but Indians especially Mumbaikars must make sure that the spirit of Mumbai must win despite all these oddds. Mumbai as a city is an inspiration to India and it must remain to be so. Mumbai alongwith India must fight to show that we can rise to follow the path to communal harmony and development.

Long live India.........
