The art of blog writing

When one of my cousins who was in seventh standard asked me bout my blog address some three years ago I didn’t even knew what blog was so the first thing I did was was google and tried to find out what exactly a blog is and how is it written? So fortunately when I got into the self proclaimed premier institute of IT and Mgmt in India i have been thinking of penning down my sensitivities into the so called web logs. So then started my odyssey of sorts in the “blog world” which ultimately has made me a blog writer for about 6 months now and a ardent reader from double the time I been penning them down. So it all started when I saw my cousin writing a blog about his ordeal when he was tangled in Ahmedabad during the Gujarat riots and then only milestones came but the journey of sorts continued on and on and hopefully it will never end….in whatever journey u undertake one gathers memories which are unforgettable and notable ,the one that I cherish the most is Rohit(real name not disclosed) writing a blog and having a thesaurus in his lap so that he could find out more ardous synonyms of the words that came to his mind… this he said made his work more distinguishable.According to him the more times his readers took the dictionary to find out the meanings of the words written by him the more successful he will think he is. Another technique which people commonly employ is that they read a poem and then get the gist of it so that they can jot it down into a article so that the people can read it… but the thing I assure is that my work is purely real n authentic even if it is not distinguishable and lacking ardous words….i don’t mind that people read it or not I rather don’t like giving my blog address to anyone so if anyone finds it by serendipity and doesn’t have to see the dictionary I wud rather like to recommend you to improve your literary tastes so that you have a nice selection of blogs you read . I haven’t written this for me, this is my creation and this is for me only and seriously I don’t give a damn that someone reads it or not .. So if ur reading please stop and lodge down and do something more fruitful to you. Just go away

nothing is certain-uncertainity is the only thing certain

Books can be a mans best friend only when he has no friend he can talk to and share his feelings. From the start of my school days I have felt this way and I have never been a book buff, never have had a inclination towards reading nor writing unless it is indispensable(means syllabus books).I being a true geminine like changes and can only read small features which also include photographs. I cant even imagine how people who belong to the same world as I do can read a novel which is nothing but a collection of words representing something that can only be fictionalized and never realized in practice.. My transient and fidgety nature was evident from the fact that I even disliked watching a movie in one go and it took me usually 3-4 days to complete it.

My mom being an avid reader had always tried to instill reading habits in me but had unfortunately for me never been able to make me realize how crucial comprehension skills are. But after coming to a college in which reading syllabus books becomes indispensable only 4-5 hours before the exams the free time calls for something substantial to be accomplished. The best and the most economical habit which one can develop in circumstances like this is reading. So these eventualities ultimately led to start me “operation book-learning” so that the free time can easily melt away. As for one of the few things that I have learnt that before starting any operation(project in IT terms) do its feasibility analysis and then see what is present system which actually apprised of the fact that i was regular reader of the “quotes” in India Today and the headlines in the news papers.I also realized my moms words of wisdom had also made me to read “Laughter is the best medicine” from the famed Readers Digest which my mom had been subscribing for a as long as 6 years now. Then it came to “All in a days work” then jokes at the end of every feature in that magazine and I started reading one feature from here and there. So after sincere and whole-hearted effort today it takes me atleast one hour to read a newspaper preferably The Hindu. So unintentionally from that time it has been slowly but gradually developing. that now today after penning down my transition to a book buff( by my standards atleast) I will read the novel “Palestine – one land two people”!!!! by god people change, not in my wildest dreams I would have thought that ankit being himself would have been writing a blog and then reading novels instead of watching wrestling or EPL or the same old boyish stuff that comes on channels late night. Sometimes I think to myself the child inside me is becoming wearisome and dying a slow death thankfully for me as I had become exasperated by my friends calling me childish. These days I say no to going out which previously I never did ,never feel like missing classes for sleeping instead and strangely do not feel attracted towards girls ,who never actually got fascinated by my charm(this is lie I assure you).Feel more serene and pacified when reading some feature with nusrat’s music playing on my computer instead of doing “bakar” only my fellow college mates wud be able to comprehend it .

It imparts me a sense of calmness and peace and this is what makes write blogs rather than the herd mentality which takes over people and then even if they don’t feel like they start writing. This way I want to be different from others or rather wanna show to you that im different.
